They alter their appearances using their spectral shroud. People strike up conversations with Noperajina at night, assuming that they are travelers, only to be horrified when their companions reveal that they are faceless monsters.


Those who see a Noperajina's featureless face often collapse in sheer terror. They are said to drag their stunned victims into the forest and devour them, though there is no evidence to support this.
