Bitemare possess their targets' beds and devour their dreams, replacing them with ghastly nightmares. Victims who awaken during the attack are pinned to the Bitemare by its spectral sheets.


A Bitemare that has already eaten may allow others to rest on its back without eating their dreams. Sometimes it even shares good dreams with the sleeper, although the sheets draped over its body are terribly itchy.
