Veloswift are among the fastest-flying Pokémon in the world and can dart and dive with impeccable skill and speed. They use their agility to snatch small bugs out of the air mid-flight. Particularly elusive insects are slowed down with a shot of sticky saliva before they are caught.
Veloswift spend almost their entire lives in the air, even drinking and resting while on the wing. Their never-ending flight was once interpreted as a constant quest for wisdom. They only land for any length of time when they are caring for their young, which are held safe in nests made of the Veloswift's gummy saliva.
