Pokédex Entries

The vengeful power of the nine spirits that comprise this Pokémon overflows when it Mega Evolves, and it is driven to spread devastating curses to all who encounter it. Even its own Trainer is not safe unless their bond is truly deep.

Anyone touched by the spirit fire that emanates from this Pokémon is said to have their very soul burned with an indelible curse. Legend has it that only the roar of a Mega-Evolved Arcanine can remove this curse.

Kitsami/Mega Ninetales 1.0 (c. 2009)
Originally an alternate Vulpix evolution. I actually like the 'ghostly tails' idea and might revisit it someday, although it'd probably be better if all nine tails were like that. I don't know what's going on with the white marks on its mane; they don't really seem necessary.
Mega Ninetales 2.0 (2016)
This one aligns with Ninetales's look a little more, although it was mostly done because the old art was really showing its age. I might still tweak it some more in the future.
