This raises the likelihood of additional effects occurring for Pokémon on the ground and halves damage from Fighting- and Normal-type moves for five turns.
Move Description
The user calls a host of departed spirits to swirl around the battlefield. The mischievous ghosts interfere with mundane attacks and double the chance for moves to cause trouble with additional effects.
Effect
For five turns, all Pokémon on the ground (i.e., not Flying, Levitating, holding an Air Balloon or under the effects of Magnet Rise or Telekinesis) have twice the usual effect chance for all of their moves, and all Normal and Fighting moves are weakened to 0.5× power against them.
An effect chance is a move's chance to inflict a status ailment, cause a stat change, or make the target flinch in addition to the move's main effect. For example, Flamethrower's chance of burning the target is doubled, but Protect's chance of success and Air Cutter's increased critical hit rate are unaffected. Secret Power is also unaffected.
If the user is holding Terrain Extender, this effect lasts for eight turns instead of five.
