Flavor Info
Pokédex Entries
Strixalba always stare intently at any living thing that enters their line of sight, even if they have to turn their heads all the way around to keep watching it. Many people find their constant gaze unnerving and move quickly to get away, but the Strixalba often fly after them for a while to watch them some more.
Local superstitions claim that when a Strixalba locks its piercing eyes with yours, something important is about to unfold. Nothing ever seems to happen, however.
Name Origin strix, Ancient Greek for owl + Xibalba, Mayan land of the dead; "Strix alba" is also the former scientific name for the barn owl
