Panumbra's deep black coat disappears completely when in darkness. Even shining a bright light directly on this Pokémon's body has very little effect, as the light is absorbed by the dark fur.


The darker the night and the dimmer the moonlight, the more active Panumbra become. It's said that during an eclipse, Panumbra can move through the shadows that cover the world and travel anywhere in an instant.
