Pummelite look like massive hunks of stone, but they are so light that a child could pick one up and carry it around. Small chunks of their soft bodies sometimes break off in battle, but the Pummelite don't seem to mind.
Pummelite usually live near lava flows or in caves, but they're happy to live and relax nearly anywhere at all. Sometimes eruptions will send them flying out into the ocean, and days later they can be found floating leisurely and enjoying the waves.
Name Origin
pumice + pummel + light + -lite, a common suffix for mineral names
