Ascaleius find injured Pokémon and humans and nurse them back to health. Some Ascaleius have such potent restorative powers that they can mend wounds by their presence alone.
The two snake heads coiled around Ascaleius's neck are said to have immense knowledge of healing techniques. Human doctors have tried for centuries to learn their secrets, but it is impossible to understand them.
