The wooden armor on an Aegilana's body undergoes a change in composition shortly after evolution, becoming as tough and solid as stone. The newly-petrified armor is very heavy, but these Pokémon are more than powerful enough to withstand the weight and maneuver easily in battle.
Aegilana are filled with a sense of honor and loyalty that makes them formidable and dependable teammates. They are quick to put themselves between beleaguered friends and their attackers, using their tough arm shields to fend off any attack.
