Millions of years ago, Kyolnir announced their presence and frightened away enemies by creating mighty thunderclaps with their tails. It is thought that even the fiercest predators would flee the area when they heard the thundering of a Kyolnir.

Kyolnir are powerful, bad-tempered Pokémon that prefer swinging their tails around to carefully examining a situation. They are so hardy and full of energy that they recover from injuries with startling speed.
