Galavena are made of a strangely flexible stone that allows them to move their entire upper bodies. They try to position themselves in what they think is the most beautiful pose possible and then stay very still so that people will admire them.
No one is sure why Galavena's stone arms seem to be missing. There are many stories about how the arms might have been broken off, but it may be simply because the Pokémon prefer the greater flexibility of the psychic projections.
