Nulohm race toward thunderstorms, eager to be hit by lightning. The Nulohm struck by the most lightning bolts takes over leadership of the herd.

Thunder roars from a Nulohm's hooves as it runs. Other Electric Pokémon follow Nulohm herds to soak up excess charge, but with caution—if they get too close, they'll get trampled.

Design History

(click thumbnail to enlarge.)

Nulohm 1.0 (2010)
All in all this is a plain, fairly bland design. It also seems too sedate for a Pokémon described as energetic.
Nulohm 2.0 (2022)
This newer design has more color variety and a wider range of shapes that do a better job evoking electricity. The more active pose is also a much better fit for the concept.
