Lingering Aroma

Whenever a contact move hits this Pokémon, the attacking Pokémon's ability changes to Lingering Aroma.

Multi-strike moves such as Fury Swipes change the attacker's ability to Lingering Aroma after the first strike. If a Pokémon with Moxie knocks this Pokémon out, the former's ability will change without taking effect. If a Pokémon with Rock Head uses a contact move with recoil against this Pokémon, the former's ability will change and it will take recoil damage. If a Pokémon with Parental Bond uses a contact move against this Pokémon, the former's ability will change, but it will still hit a second time.

Pokémon whose abilities cannot be suppressed or changed (such as those with Comatose, Multitype, or Schooling) and those with the abilities Cursed Fangs, Lingering Aroma, or Mummy, are unaffected by this ability.
