Siamacho are notorious for their inability to tolerate other Pokémon swimming in their stretch of water, even other Siamacho or Basculin with the same stripe color. When a Basculin evolves the others in its school will band together and chase it away for their own safety.

Siamacho with red stripes are utterly vicious and attack whatever they see the instant they see it. Anything that can't escape their wild charges quickly falls under a flurry of bites and punches.
