When a Freye evolves one of its eyes begins to move over to the other side of its head. Whether a Floundirt's left eye moves to the right or its right eye moves to the left varies depending on its habitat.


Floundirt must relearn how to swim efficiently as their eyes migrate across their bodies. They frequently switch between swimming vertically and hugging the seafloor, not always sure which eye they should be following.
