Pokédex Entries

Bitemare possess their targets' beds and wait for their victims to fall asleep before devouring their dreams. They replace the pleasant dreams they eat with ghastly nightmares. Victims who awaken during the attack find themselves pinned to the Bitemare by its spectral sheets.


A Bitemare that has already eaten or that is particularly docile may allow people or Pokémon to rest on its back without eating their dreams. Sometimes it may even share good dreams with the sleeper, although the sheets draped over its body are said to be terribly itchy.
