A Seviron's coils are covered with thick scales that protect it from the claws of its eternal enemy, Zanthera. They fend off opponents' attacks with these scales while waiting for a chance to strike with their poisonous fangs and tail-blades.

Name Origin: sever + long, a Chinese dragon
Seviron's dragon-like design is not only a nice change from the usual "bigger snake" Seviper evolution you see slithering around, it's also apparently one of my more popular fakes. I like it a lot, too. It came out much better than some of the other stuff I come up with, that's for sure.
Those who are familiar with Seviper's base stats will realize that I've swapped them around in addition to boosting them. As a result, Seviron's attack stats are actually 15 points lower than Seviper's. The change in emphasis from offense to defense fits better with the design, though; Chinese dragons represent, among other things, wisdom, cunning and analyzing opponents before striking, where tigers represent unbridled ferocity and brute strength. High defenses seemed like a better counterpoint to Zanthera's rather scary physical attack.
...and hey, you can always stick a Choice Band on it or something!
