A strange curse carried in a Varkoloff's fangs causes the victims it bites to behave strangely. Some people facing criminal charges have famously claimed that they were acting under the influence of such a bite.


Varkoloff are cool, calculating battlers, but they are dangerous when they lose their tempers. They are proud of their viciously sharp fangs, and it is said that the right compliment about its teeth can calm an angry Varkoloff down.
