Pokédex Entries

Khersin patrol their desert territory, gruffly challenging any who would disturb them. Those few trespassers they cannot drive away with their fearsome headbutts find themselves lost in wild sandstorms.

Khersin are surprisingly clever and patient Pokémon. They observe their opponents carefully, disorienting them with sandstorms and then crashing into them at just the right moment.

Design History

Khersin 1.0 (2010)
It's... fine, I guess? A bit drab, in addition to the very old linework and shading. The original Khersin was Ground/Rock rather than Ground/Steel.
Khersin 2.0 (2017)
This line's revamps were primarily spurred by a need to update art quality and replace Harmontu moreso than a real problem with the designs, but the blue-and-gold crown and the crook-scepter tail give a much stronger Egyptian vibe.
