Even though their backs are covered in rock, a Gravendou's underside is still soft and vulnerable. They cling to mountainsides as tightly as they can, presenting only their spines to attackers and keeping their bellies safe.

Gravendou have surprisingly sharp front teeth and constantly gnaw on stone to keep them trimmed. Their nests can be identified by the piles of freshly-broken rubble they have chewed away from the entrance.
