By scraping its claws across the plates on its belly a Charandillo can make noises that sound almost like music. Old Charandillo armor is sometimes used to make traditional instruments.


Charandillo swim through the sand in search of something fun to do. They like to follow the sound of music and may surprise people by popping up out of the ground to dance.
